(San Antonio, TX) — Two survivors of last year’s deadly church shooting are suing the company that sold the killer the rifle that he used in the attack.
An attorney for Rosanne Solis and Joaquin Ramirez filed the lawsuit in Bexar County last Friday.
The lawsuit claims Academy Sports and Outdoors sold a Ruger AR 556 with a 30-round magazine to Devin Kelley, who used it to kill 26 people at First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs.
Kelley’s ID said he was a resident of Colorado, where the gun is illegal.
