(Leon Valley, TX) — A 38-year-old San Antonio man is under arrest for stealing a shark, and Leon Valley police are looking for his two accomplices.
Officers say the three were caught on surveillance video stealing a horn shark from a tank at the aquarium on Saturday afternoon.
They reportedly wrapped the shark in a blanket, put it into a bucket, and smuggled it out in a stroller, pretending it was a baby.
The suspect, whose name hasn’t been released, was arrested Monday evening, and the female shark is back at the aquarium.
