Still No Break In Case Of Cyclist Who Shot Doctor

(Houston, TX) — Homicide investigators still don’t have a suspect or a motive in last week’s fatal shooting of a Houston cardiologist.

Dr. Mark Hausknecht was riding his bicycle to work in the Medical Center on Friday when a gunman on another bike shot him.

Surveillance video from a Metro bus shows the suspect following the doctor shortly before shooting him twice.

Police says the shooter is a Hispanic man about 30 years old.
