(San Antonio, TX) — The SkyScreamer at Six Flags Fiesta Texas is shut down after it developed a technical problem on Sunday.
The ride stopped during an ascent when safety sensors were triggered.
San Antonio fire crews responded to provide a “high-angle rescue,” but all the riders were escorted from the ride before the fire crews arrived.
A spokeswoman for the theme park says the ride will undergo a thorough inspection before reopening.
