(Huntsville, TX) — A 34-year-old San Antonio man is now the eighth Texas prisoner to be executed this year.
Christopher Young received the lethal injection on Tuesday evening in Huntsville.
Young was convicted of robbing and murdering the owner of an East Side convenience store in 2004.
The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals rejected Young’s final appeal on Friday.
