(San Antonio, TX) — Sea World is the latest target of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
Tuesday was “Boycott Sea World Day,” and PETA set up an exhibit on Alamo Plaza in the afternoon to let people know.
PETA staged similar protests in other cities as well.
One protester said Sea World should release all of its orcas into the ocean.
Sea World has ended its orca breeding program, and says its display of marine animals encourages enthusiasm for conservation in the 22 million people who visit Sea World parks every year.
