NAACP Lifts Travel Advisory Against American Airlines

American Airlines

(Fort Worth, TX) — An NAACP travel advisory against American Airlines is no longer in effect.

Last fall the organization said black passengers should “exercise caution” when flying on the Fort Worth-based carrier.

The travel advisory was in response to the NAACP’s concerns about how black travelers had been treated by the airline.

On Tuesday, the advisory was lifted.

The NAACP says American has made progress in diversity and inclusion, and by providing implicit bias training.
