(San Antonio, TX) — The annual NAACP Convention is in San Antonio starting this weekend, the convention’s first time ever in the Alamo City.
The convention will be held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center from Saturday until Tuesday.
About 8,000 to 10,000 people are expected to attend, bringing a $10-million-dollar economic impact to the city.
Volunteers were at the convention center on Thursday, making sure everything was ready for the event.
