(San Antonio, TX) — A new study says Interstate 10 statewide, from Louisiana to New Mexico, is one of the deadliest highways in the country.
The study by ValuePenguin, an insurance data group, says the Houston-area stretch of I-10 is the nation’s fifth-deadliest stretch of highway, and the sixth deadliest is I-20 through the Dallas area.
The study found that five of the top six highways with the most DWI crashes are in Texas.
