(Atlanta, GA) — The CDC says do not eat Honey Smacks.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Thursday that the breakfast cereal is linked to a salmonella outbreak that has infected 100 people in 33 states.
At least 30 of those 100 people have been hospitalized.
Kellogg’s recalled over a million boxes of Honey Smacks in mid-June, but the FDA says it believes the cereal is still being sold in some stores.
Now the CDC is warning consumers to not eat Honey Smacks of any size package or with any best-if-used-by date.
