Roseanne Says She’s Not A Racist

(Los Angeles, CA)  —  Roseanne Barr says she’s not a racist.  The TV star got her hit show cancelled yesterday after a tweet that compared a former Obama advisor to an ape.  Barr has blamed Ambien for the tweet, and assured her fans this morning that she’s not a racist, “just an idiot who made a bad joke.”  In another tweet, Barr said she was sorry but would defend herself, adding, “I’m tired of being attacked and belittled more than other comedians who have said worse.”  In a series of tweets this morning, Roseanne also accused her co-stars of throwing her under the bus, and implied that she was fired over her support for President Trump.
