(Austin, TX) — People in the capital city of Texas are being told to call police if they receive any suspicious packages after three recent explosions. Austin Police Chief Brian Manley issued the alert Monday after a teen was killed when a parcel bomb went off in the morning hours inside a home. A second explosion happened just before noon Monday in East Austin, sending an elderly woman to the hospital. A third blast happened earlier this month, killing a man. Police believe the explosions are connected.
The FBI and ATF are involved in the probe, while Texas Governor Greg Abbott is offering a 15-thousand-dollar reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.
