(Houston, TX) — Harris County Commissioners Court is scheduled to vote today on a plan to repurpose the Astrodome.
Commissioners will decide whether to proceed with a $105 million renovation plan for the vintage structure once known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.”
The plan involves raising the floor of the Dome to create an underground parking garage, and creating nine acres of open space.
