The Harris County Sheriff’sOffice is tops in the U.S. in sex buyer arrests. Vice Unit members took 103 people into custody during a month-long operation. Chief Deputy Edison Toquica says people looking to buy sex should realize they’re helping out criminal human trafficking and exploiting some of the most vulnerable people in the community. Vice detectives arrested over 430 illegal sex buyers last year.
