New York City Menorah
(New York, NY) — The world’s largest menorah is being assembled today in New York City. The menorah is 32-feet-tall and weighs four-thousand-pounds. It will sit across the street from The Plaza hotel on Fifth Avenue. The structure will be illuminated to kick off Hanukkah on Tuesday evening and for each night of the holiday. This is the 40th year this menorah has been erected in New York City.
