White House Issues Statement On Trump Call With Putin

(Washington, DC) — The White House says Russian leader Vladimir Putin gave President Trump a call today to thank him for the warning the United States intelligence agencies provided Russia about a major terror plot. The statement reads that based on information the U.S. provided, Russian authorities were able to capture terrorists before they could set off an attack in St. Petersburg. No Russian lives were lost and the terrorists before they could set off an attackers were caught and are now in jail. The White House said President Trump appreciated the call and told President Putin and he and the entire United States intelligence community were pleased to have helped save so many lives.
