Uber Accused Of Espionage, Hacking And Bribery

UBER

(San Francisco, CA) — Uber is being accused of espionage, hacking and bribery by a former employee. The lawyer for a former Uber security analyst penned a 37-page letter with the allegations. It details how Uber spied on and bribed foreign officials, hacked into private chat groups, stole trade secrets, and abused secret messaging apps and attorney-client privilege to impede investigations. The letter was made public in court filings as part of an ongoing lawsuit. Waymo, which was formerly Google’s self-driving car company, is suing Uber for allegedly stealing trade secrets.
