(Washington, DC) — The President is conceding that a lot of Republicans are applauding the results in the Alabama Senate race.
In a White House photo-op today, President Trump said many Republicans are very happy with the way it turned out. Democrat Doug Jones is the winner of the hotly-contested Senate race in Alabama.
Trump strongly supported Republican Roy Moore, who was dogged by allegations of past sexual harassment. Congressional Republican leaders urged Moore to drop out of the race but he refused.
