(New York, NY) — Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is rescinding his offer for “unconditional talks” with North Korea. Tillerson told the U.N. Security Council Friday that North Korea must “earn its way back to the table.” He said the United States’ “pressure campaign” would continue until “denuclearization is achieved.” Until then, the diplomat said he planned to keep “channels of communication open.” The change comes after Tillerson said he was ready to have talks with the rogue regime “without preconditions” at a think tank event on Tuesday.
