(Birmingham, AL) — Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore is denying in his first television interview since early December that he ever molested anyone.
Moore repeated that he has never met the women who’ve accused of him sexual assault.
In an interview with “The Voice of Alabama Politics” Moore said he “never molested anyone, and for them to say that, I don’t know why they’re saying it, but it’s not true.” Moore said in the Sunday interview that when he stated he’d never met any of the women, he was referring to the ones who’ve accused him of sexual assault or molestation.
Moore maintains, “When I saw these pictures on the advertisements of my opponent, I didn’t recognize any of those women. I did not know them.” Moore is running against Democrat Doug Jones.
The election is Tuesday.
