The information from the CIA allowed Russian security services to search out and detain alleged terrorists. Various reports say the Russian president expressed his gratitude to Trump through a phone call. Putin said Russian security services would also share information with their U.S. counterparts on any planned attacks in America. The Russian Federal Security Service arrested members of a terrorist cell linked to the Islamic State. The report says the extremists planned a series of violent assaults on public places, including an attack on a cathedral.
