Officials Identify Gunman In New Mexico High School Shooting 

(Aztec, NM)  —  The gunman who carried out a school shooting in the town of Aztec, New Mexico is being identified.

Police say 21-year-old William Atchinson disguised himself as a student yesterday morning and entered Aztec High School as buses were unloading.  He killed cheerleader Casey Marquez and  football player Fancisco Fernandez. The San Juan County Sheriff’s Office says Atchinson posted a message on an online forum shortly before carrying out the attack, indicating that he intended to hold a class hostage before killing himself.

He wrote, “Work sucks, school sucks, life sucks. I just want out.” Atchinson worked at a local gas station in Aztec, a few miles south of the Colorado border.  It’s not known yet if he knew his victims
