(Undated) — A new study suggests almost 50-million Americans could be in early stages of Alzheimer’s disease.
Researchers at UCLA predict more than nine-million Americans will be clinically diagnosed with Alzheimer’s by 2060. The prediction is based on some hard data and a lot of supposition. But the Alzheimer’s Association says it is the best estimate of how much Alzheimer’s will affect the U.S. in coming years.
The study is published in the latest edition of “The Journal of the Alzheimer’s Association.”
