(Tampa, FL) — Three Florida men are being charged with felony animal cruelty after a disturbing video surfaced of a shark being dragged to death behind a speedboat.
All three were also charged with illegally taking a shark in the July incident.
A spokesman for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission said he hopes the charges announced yesterday will send a clear message to others that “this kind of behavior involving our fish and wildlife will not be tolerated.”
