(Los Angeles, CA) — Disney’s “Stars Wars: The Last Jedi” is a big force at this weekend’s box office. The blockbuster notched a North American opening weekend that bought in 220-million dollars — 45 million on Thursday’s opening night alone. It was the second-highest opening weekend of all time, and only the fourth movie to break 200-million domestically in its opening. The others were 2015’s “The Force Awakens” with 248-million, 2015’s “Jurassic World” with 208-million, and 2012’s the “Avengers.” In second place this week was “Ferdinand” at a distant 13-point-3-million, with “Coco,” “Wonder” and Justice League” rounding out the top five.
