L.A. Fire Department Using Drone For First Time Against Wildfires 

(Los Angeles, CA)  —  The Los Angeles Fire Department will begin using drones today over wildfires in Southern California.

Chief Ralph Terrazas says it’ll be the first time the department has used the unmanned aircraft in fighting fires. He says the drones will be used to look for hotspots and conduct property assessment.
