Hunters Find Human Bones Near Kerrville 

(Kerrville, TX)  —  Kerrville police are investigating after deer hunters found some skeletal human remains last Saturday.

The hunters made the discovery at Kerrville Schreiner City Park, about 70 miles northwest of San Antonio. Police say the remains looked like they’d been there for a long time.  Results are being awaited from an autopsy that was scheduled for Monday.

KENS5 News reported that “On Saturday, hunters participating in a state-sponsored hunting program discovered the remains in a very thick cedar brush while tracking a deer that had been shot.”
