(Harris County, TX) — A Harris County inmate is dead.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says 26-year-old Maytham Alsaedy was found hanging by a bedsheet in his cell of the 1200 Baker Street jail yesterday. Alsaedy was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center after jail medical staff were unable to revive him.
The death is currently under investigation. Alsaedy was charged with capital murder for the 2015 killing of 22-year-old Kella Bracken.
