(Washington, DC) — President Trump is being pushed to resign by a small group of Democratic senators over past sexual misconduct allegations.
Leading the group is Senator Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, who told CNN today, “these allegations are credible. They are numerous. I’ve heard these women’s testimony and many of them are heartbreaking.” She is joined by Senators Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley of Oregon, Bernie Sanders of Vermont, and Cory Booker of New Jersey.
The calls come hours after several of President Trump’s accusers hosted a press conference in New York, calling for a congressional investigation into his alleged misconduct.
