(Sunnyvale, TX) — Classes are canceled today and tomorrow at Sunnyvale ISD schools because of a flu outbreak. Superintendent Doug Williams says the decision comes after a number of students and faculty members came down with flu-like symptoms, resulting in growing absenteeism. After the kids went home on Monday afternoon, a days-long disinfection began inside Sunnyvale Elementary. The two days’ cancellation affects Sunnyvale Elementary, Sunnyvale Middle School and Sunnyvale High School.
