Ex-USA Gymnastics Doctor Gets 60 Years For Child Porn 

(Grand Rapids, MI)  —  A former USA Gymnastics doctor is going to be spending 60 years in federal prison for child porn.

Larry Nassar received the sentence today after admitting he had 37-thousand graphic videos and pictures. U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Michigan Andrew Birge called the sentence “justice for an insidious hands-on child predator.”

Multiple Olympic medalists, including Aly Raisman, McKayla Maroney, Gabby Douglas, and Jamie Dantzscher have accused Nassar of abuse.

Birge said he hopes the sentence provides the doctor’s victims a “renewed sense of self-worth.”
