The pilot’s union anounced today they’ve reached an agreement with the airline regarding overtime pay. The union said American’s offer of one-and-a-half times their hourly pay to work unassigned flights violated the pilot’s contract. After meeting with airline officials, the issue has been resolved and all December flights are expected to take off as scheduled.
