(Aztec, NM) — Police in New Mexico say three people are dead after a school shooting in a rural area.
San Juan County Sheriff Ken Christesen said all three are believed to be students. Christesen tells the “Albuquerque Journal” deputies are still working the scene. San Juan County Sheriff Ken Christesen said the fatalities are believed to be students at Aztec High School.
Aztec police said the suspect is dead, but it isn’t known if that counted in the death toll. At least 15 people are wounded.
