(Harris County, TX) — A man says he was shot several times in the drive through of a Jack-In-The-Box in northeast Harris County.
Police found the man just before 4 am today in the 14000 block of Eastex Freeway with gunshot wounds. The victim says he was ambushed by a gunman from the rear passenger side of the car. The shooter is still at large. The man was taken to LBJ Hospital.
The suspect entered the Jack in the Box in the 9200 block of Flair Drive about 7:30 p.m., said Deputy Ryan Rouzan, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The suspect jumped over the front counter in what police elieve was an attempt to rob the restaurant.
He shot the employee in the upper torso and fled on foot, Rouzan said.
