Car Chase
(Flatswoods, KY) — Two people were killed during a police chase and shooting in Flatswoods, Kentucky near the border with Ohio. The victims were identified as 27-year-old Kiser Sturgell of Jackson, Ohio, and 23-year-old Ashley Jenkins of Lucasville, Ohio. Gunshots could be heard on cell phone video taken by a Greenup County resident as the chase ended right outside his door Thursday night. Neighbors said they heard about 20 shots. Witnesses said the chase went through several yards, before the suspect’s vehicle crashed.
