(Washington, DC) — Texas Congressman Joe Barton is apologizing for a sexually explicit photo that’s circulating the Internet.
Barton says the photo was taken when he was separated from his second wife, but not divorced, and having sexual relations with “mature adult women.” Barton and his second wife finalized their divorce in 2015.
The Republican says he used poor judgment during that time period and is sorry for letting his constituents down. Barton recently announced his re-election bid, and it isn’t known if he’ll change plans.
