(Seattle, WA) — Around 25-thousand households in western Washington remain without power today after a windstorm slammed the region.
Gusts of 65-miles-an-hour and heavy rain caused widespread power outages, including Seattle, Magnolia, Capitol Hill, Leschi and Delridge.
Some programs at Puget Sound regions schools were canceled today because of power outages. A second round of storms will hit western Washington today. The next weather front is the second in a string of weather systems expected to pound the western Washington-area with rain and wind over the next few days.
