(Houston, TX) — Texans star quarterback Deshaun Watson is out for the season with an injury suffered during a practice session on Thursday.
Watson reportedly tore the ACL in his right knee while running a routine toss sweep during a non-contact drill.
It wasn’t thought to be a serious injury at first, since Watson didn’t seem to be in much pain. But an MRI confirmed the severity of the injury. Watson will undergo surgery to repair the damage.
