George Takei
(Los Angeles, CA) — Star Trek legend George Takei is denying a sexual assault claim made by former model and actor Scott Brunton. Today, Takei took to Twitter in a series of posts to respond to the accusations dating back to 1981. Takei said he’s shocked and bewildered by the claims and says the events mentioned didn’t even happen. He added that non-consensual acts are “antithetical” to his values and the idea that someone would accuse him of that is “painful.” Takei even goes as far to say he doesn’t even remember Brunton.
Brunton who was 23 at the time says he met then 43 or 44 year old Takei at a Hollywood bar and the two became friends. Later, they spent an evening together which ended with them going back to Takei’s place for more drinks. Brunton claims he passed out and woke up with his pants down and Takei groping him.
