Spotlight On Governor Races In Virginia, New Jersey Tomorrow 

(Undated)  —  Voters in Virginia and New Jersey will cast their ballot for their new governor tomorrow.

Some analysts are looking at Virginia’s race as an indicator of how things may play out in next year’s mid-term congressional elections.

In Virginia, Democratic Lieutenant Governor Ralph Northam is in a tight race against veteran Republican operative Ed Gillespie.

 

President Trump is supporting Gillespie while Northam has the backing of former President Obama. The winner replaces outgoing Democratic Governor Terry McAuliffe
