(Washington, DC) — Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore is denying new accusations of sexual misconduct as a growing number of Republican leaders call for him to step aside.
On Monday, Beverly Young Nelson claimed she was 16-years-old when Moore assaulted her in a car. She said Moore groped her breasts and forcibly attempted to have her perform a sex act on him.
Meanwhile, Attorney General Jeff Sessions says he has no reason to doubt the women who have accused Roy Moore of sexual misconduct.
In a House hearing today, Sessions would not say whether the Justice Department would investigate Moore if he wins a Senate runoff election next month.
