Reports Say 3 Dead In Shooting Near Northern CA School 

(Tehama County, CA) —  At least three people are dead in a shooting at an elementary school in the Northern California community of Corning in Tehama [[ Tay-Heema ]] County.

Law enforcement says the shooter was killed.  Assistant Sheriff Phil Johnston says multiple shots were fired before 9 am local at Rancho Tehama School on the outskirts of Corning, California  —  north of Sacramento.

Johnston says “we have (airlifted) a number of students. I know that the school’s been cleared.”  Authorities are investigating at least five scenes around the school.
