(Undated) — A chain of massage spas is facing more than one hundred sexual assault complaints.
More than 180 women across the U.S. say they’ve been sexually assaulted by workers at Massage Envy franchises. The women say staff at the chain groped them and performed other lewd acts while giving them massages.
According to “Buzz Feed,” the women accuse managers at some of Massage Envy’s franchises of covering up sexual assault reports and keeping masseurs who assaulted women on the payroll.
The company has argued in court filings it is not responsible for franchise employees.
