(Washington, DC) — Paul Manafort appears to have a deal with the special counsel’s office that will allow him to travel within the U.S. A filing with U.S. District Court in Washington, DC, dated Tuesday says the former Trump campaign chairman has agreed to forfeit assets worth nearly 12-million-dollars should he violate the conditions of his bail. The total includes four homes. The agreement would allow Manafort to travel between Virginia, New York and Florida and is subject to approval from District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson.
Manafort is under house arrest in Virginia after he was indicted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller [[ MULL-er ]] last month. Manafort and business partner Rick Gates are facing charges related to money laundering, and foreign lobbying they failed to disclose.
