Homicide Detective Dies After Shooting 

(Baltimore, MD)  —  A homicide detective is dead following a shooting in West Baltimore.

Police Commissioner Kevin Davis announced today that 18-year veteran Sean Suiter died just after noon today at Shock Trauma.

Davis says Suiter was investigating a 2016 murder in the city’s Harlem Park neighborhood yesterday afternoon when a man shot him in the head.

Suiter was a 43-year-old married father of five.

Police are still looking for the suspect, described only as an adult black male.  The reward for information on the shooter is now up to 69-thousand dollars.
