(Denver, CO) — Doctors in Colorado claim the 2015 death of an eleven-month old is the first case of a marijuana overdose. The report published in the journal “Clinical Practice and Cases in Emergency Medicine” says the boy’s heart was fatally damaged when he ingested marijuana. The doctors say there was a high concentration of marijuana in the boy’s blood. The doctors argue that they ruled out other possible causes of death, leaving the marijuana in his system as the only possible cause.
