(Sutherland Springs, TX) — A claim is being filed against the U.S. government over the Sutherland Springs church massacre.
The family of Bryan Holcombe says the Air Force’s failure to enter Devin Patrick Kelley’s information into a database allowed him to purchase the weapons used in the November 5th attack.
The Air Force admitted to making a mistake. Kelley shot Holcombe and 25 others to death at First Baptist Church Sutherland Springs, and wounded almost two dozen others.
He later committed suicide after being shot by a civilian. The claim could be the first step to a lawsuit.
