The 83-year-old Manson died last night at a hospital in Bakersfield, California. He’d been brought to the hospital from a state prison an hour away last week. Manson was hospitalized in January for what sources said was a serious illness.
Manson was serving a life sentence for directing the murders of actress Sharon Tate and six other people in 1969.
