(Dallas, TX) — Dallas has a billion-dollar bond program on the ballot for election day on Tuesday. More than half the bond money would go for street repairs. Other big-ticket items include parks and recreation, a separate earmark for Fair Park where the State Fair of Texas takes place, and flood control. Rounding it out are proposed expenditures for libraries, cultural and performing arts facilities, public safety facilities, and other priorities.
