$20K Reward Offered In Border Patrol Murder Case

(Austin, TX)  —  A 20-thousand-dollar reward is being offered in Texas following the murder of a Border Patrol agent.

Governor Greg Abbott says it’s important to capture whoever killed Agent Rogelio Martinez, and seriously injured his partner on Sunday.

They were investigating “activity” about 120 miles east of El Paso when they were attacked. The National Border Patrol Council originally claimed the agents were hit by rocks, but later backed off the statement.

Abbott is hoping people will cooperate with law enforcement to follow all leads to help capture the suspects.
